This web site is an addendum to the book “Cooking after Brain Injury: Easy Cooking for Recovery”. It provides the information that needs to be downloaded in order to shop for the dishes given in the book.
When attempting to cook a recipe:
-
- Assess your level of cooking capability
-
- Select the right level of dish complexity; and
- Check that the dish you selected is appropriate for your dietary needs.
All of the above choices can be made using the Dish Ratings table in the book specified in parenthesis. The books are available by clicking here.
Also:
- Look up the classic format of the recipe first then, if you like the dish
- Go on and use the step-by-step version of the recipe.
NOTE: By the time people start cooking the recipes in Book 4 and 5 they are well on their way to “normal” cooking. As such, the shopping lists and labels for those books are included in the book text. For ease of referencing the dishes are still listed on this web site.
Have fun cooking!
